![]() I have never in my life been yelled at by a nail tech, hair stylist, or anyone in a service establishment. I was so stunned, I didn't know what to say. When I CALMLY asked her to fix it again, she lost it and started yelling in her language. By the time she was done with her final coat, there were still gaps at the nail corners that were very noticeable. When I POLITELY asked her to fix it, she got annoyed and said I needed to wait until she did her second coat. ![]() From the first coat, I realized that she was leaving huge gaps towards the corners of each nail, polishing mostly in the center. Everything was going fine until I asked the female nail tech to add more polish towards the corner of my nails. Because of how upscale this nail shop presents itself I was REALLY excited to do my nails here. The worst experience I have ever had at a nail shop. Perhaps the business is not doing well and they have to do things like this to keep afloat, as opposed to charge a reasonable cancellation amount. This kind of service is deplorable and speaks volumes about their professionalism, as a whole and how considerate they are as human beings. What made matters worse, is although the receptionist told me that my therapist had an appointment immediately following mine, I witnessed nobody leaving her room or entering until about 6PM (my appointment end time was 5:15), which tells me she could have atleast performed a one-half hour service, if they really were going to charge me for a full one, due to this circumstance beyond my control. She told me no availability the remainder of that day or the two following. I also figured stopping in would show good faith effort on my part and that they would be reasonable and willing to either reschedule at a later date, if none of the other female massage therapists were available that day. The remainder they charged to my card on file. I decided to stop in anyway, for I had to use the bathroom, after such a long trip and give them the giftcard number, which I was not willing to read off to them, per the woman's request, while I was driving. She told me that the policy is written on their website, which I do not doubt, however, there should be leeway for extenuating circumstances. This was very unreasonable for a number of reasons. I travelled from state of Virginia straight to this spa and although I gave the receptionist updates (and told her I was taking screen shots of traffic as proof) on my eta, when I saw traffic was starting to build, I was told that I would be charged the entire amount of the service, which was roughly $150. Most recently, I made an appointment for last week thursday, in order to use the remaining amount on a gift card I was given. Because he didn't touch me inappropriately in my private area, I chose not to report him, but to make sure I didn't receive another service with him. Between him using extremely deep pressure, to prove his point that people with back injuries should never get a deep tissue massage, not supplying the cbd oil I purchased, as well as slapping my behind during the massage, made for a very uncomfortable visit. Back in January, I was to have a deep tissue massage with their male therapist. The past two appointments to this spa were very disappointing.
